The Bacon Academy Board of Trustees is hosting a Festival of Lights event and fundraiser. The board is asking the community to decorate a 3-foot tree or a 24-inch wreath that the board will provide, and donate it to the trustees and auction during the fundraising event on December 5th at 6 p.m., held at Historic Bacon Academy. Tickets will be $30 and will include a wine tasting from Priam Vineyards and hors d'oeuvres. There will be live music. The public will be able to view the trees and wreaths on December 6th at an open house at Historic Bacon during the Holiday Homecoming events on the green from 4 pm to 7 pm.
