The Bacon Academy Trustees are tasked with the preservation and maintenance of three of Colchester's most important historic landmarks: Historic Bacon Academy, The DAR/Nathaniel Foote House, and Day Hall. The trustees became a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in 2011.
This year, the Trustees of Historic Bacon Academy have launched a Capital Campaign to raise much-needed funds to support the preservation, restoration, and continued use of the most widely recognized local landmark in Colchester, Bacon Academy. They aim to bring the community together to educate them about this building, help them recognize that it is essential to preserve this piece of history and seek their support in restoring these landmarks for future use.
Today, this important historic landmark needs your support. To honor the 300th birthday of our founder, Pierpoint Bacon, the Trustees of Bacon Academy have launched a Capital Campaign. See more information about our Capital Campaign.
Supporting the Bacon Academy Board of Trustees with a one-time or monthly recurring donation, can help insure our viability for the future.
